Holly-Hunter
Holly Hunter was an American actress, who gained fame due to her roles in films Broadcast News The Firm The Piano The Incredibles. Her work has been recognized with numerous awards, including an Oscar for her role in the film Piano. Her acting career began on Broadway by performing in a range of Broadway and Off Broadway productions. In her early years, Helen Keller was her favorite character in a 5th class production. The fifth grade was the year that after having mumps she lost her hearing in her left ear. However, she did not let that stop her. While in college, she took classes in theatre and later moved from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to New York City in pursuit of her dreams. Hunter was trapped in the lift of playwright Beth Henley when she met her. Together they created Broadway Crimes of the Heart that marked the debut of Hunter on Broadway. After that, she moved from New York to Los Angeles and tried to get movie parts. In Swing Shift, she landed an appearance as a supporting character. Since then she has appeared in many television series and movies throughout a span of more than 30 years. Holly Hunter has a Hollywood Walk of Fame actress and won Women in Film Lucy Award.
